Lisbon, Portugal or Dubrovnik, Croatia?

I have an opportunity to travel in March and have found some good deals for Lisbon, Portugal and Dubrovnik, Croatia. However I am on a tight budget and am wondering what city would be the cheapest. They both sound really great and I can't decide so finding out what city would give me more bang for my buck will be the deciding factor. Can anyone give me any information? Thanks. P.S. Has anyone ever used the travel agency, Travel.Time?

Two difficult cities to choose between, but I'd opt for Dubrovnik. I think you get more &quot;bang for your buck&quot; just because it's a little more &quot;exotic&quot;. The two best things we did there were walking the medieval walls around the city (nearly free) and taking a full day bus trip into Montenegro, (Yugoslavia) which was beautiful and interesting. I would estimate costs in both cities to be very similar.<BR>How long are you staying? There is more to do in and around Lisbon, in my opinion, so if it is for more than a week, that might offer you more variety.
