Looking for a B&B in or around Linz

Any particular reason you need to be in Linz? I ask because it's kinda industrial and not very interesting...I've visited relatives there.

we're visiting the camp at mauthausen, so we need something in the vicinity. Doesn't have to be in the city of Linz.

I won't be able to help, but others might want to know which direction you're heading after this stop...towards Vienna? Salzburg?

Why not stay in the town of Mauthausen- a nice village directly on the Danube ? Many of the bikers using the Danube bike path stop there.
