limousine service at Linate

I received a quote from fifth avenue limousine for pickup at linate to my hotel about 12 km away. The quote includes 45 min max waiting time at the airport. If my flight is scheduled to arrive at 9:35 a.m., what time should I request pickup.

how long can i expect to be at immigration after arrival at Linate.

We flew into Linate (from Frankfurt) in May. "Immigration" was basically non-existent..picked up the bags and walked right out..lots of taxis waiting...how much are you paying for that limo?

48 euros. is this reasonable?

You can get a very comfortable bus ride to Milano Centrale for about 4 euros, if I remember correctly (2001 prices), per person. From there, most destinations would be a 10 euro taxi ride or less.

I agree with the rapid out the door assessment of Linate.

Best wishes,

Rex

I think a taxi would probably cost less than the limo although I am not familiar with the area in which your hotel is located. When we arrived we took a taxi into the downtown area (Milano Centrale RR station) and whereas I don't remember exactly how much we paid it was certainly a lot cheaper than 48 Euros.
