I am a little nervous giving my credit card info. has anyone done this?

To whom are you giving the information and why?

I remember you mentioned going to Rome..so if it's limoservicerome you are speaking of , I've given mine to them by email with no problems. They are very reliable and dependable. If you are hesitant , send the muber and the expiration date in seperate emails.

I just used them. They are trustworthy and do a good job. A couple small complaints about them:
-They guaranteed a Merecedes and show a picture of a 300 series one in their ads. When they picked us up at the airport it was in a Merecedes...Van. Not at all that nice or comfortable.
-When we were leaving, they arrived in a nice Mercedes sedan. At the airport,however, the driverd said he didn't have his machine so he could only take cash. Fortuantly I still had plenty Euros.
Nice drivers and very dependable beyond these glitches.

I got the same line from the limo driver who took us from Paris to CDG.

I insisted that I had only a credit card: no cash, no ATM.

He called the office and they told me to write an authorization for the fare on my credit card.

I did.

All of my other bills have come through. This one hasn't.

we are going to use them in September and were told that the credit card is just to guarantee the reservation we will be expected to pay cash when we arrive.

yes that is correct, you pay the driver in cash. The credit card is just to hold your reservation.
