Any liquor store should have it or you can make it yourself.

HiBill, I interrupt your question as to where you can buy a drink of Limoncello versus buying a bottle of Limoncello. Am I correct? Anyway, if so post back and I will email a friend in Atlanta as there is a wonderful restaurant there owned by Italians who also have a restaurant in Florence. They would be sure to serve Limoncello but unfortuantly I cannot remember the name of the restaurant.

Another thought Bill, if you repost on the US Board there are a lot of people in Atlanta and the area that will no doubt be able to answer your question. Best regards.

"Any liquor store" - how true! I lugged a bottle of the stuff back from Sorrento only to find my local liquor store had it, and it was cheaper!!!

In any liquor store. Usually it is made in Italy.
Best way to drink it is cold, after meals. Delicious.

It is SO easy to make--search for Giada's recipe on foodnetwork site.

Limoncello: how delicious. Brings back fond memories of my trip to Sicily a few years ago. After a sumptuous meal of wonderful dishes, as we were getting ready to pay our bill, the waiter came back with complimentary limoncello for the 10 people in our party. We were so surprised at this friendly gesure. None of us had ever tasted this drink and thus were eager to try. Lo and behold, it was so good, so refreshing and just so perfect after a meal. Since then it was Limoncello after every meal in Sicily.
It is easily available in most liquor stores in US.

(Uh, Bill -- it's a girly drink. Enjoy it if you like it but keep a low profile. Ask for grappa and say your wife wants the limoncello.)

Bill,

I am in Atlanta. I bought a bottle of Limoncello at Giant Liquor Store, Toco Hills shopping center - [Dekalb County, North Druid Hills rd, about 2 miles south of I-85.]

The larger liquor stores should have a bottle. If all else fails call Pearsons (Plain Old Pearsons) in Buckhead.
