Lille to Interlaken in campervan
We are taking about three days to drive from Lille to Interlaken. Any suggestions on places we should visit along the way? Not sure whether to go through bottom of Belgium, Luxembourg then down along French border or just drive through northern France??

Many nice options to choose from..
Lille-Reims-Metz-Strasbourg-Basel-Interlaken
Until you get to Strasbourg you trade scenery (Northern France is a bit bland) for impressive cities (Reims, Metz)
Lille- Ardennes/Lux- Strasbourg-Basel-Interlaken
More scenic way to drive to Strasbourg, but not as many important/impressive cities to see.
Lille-Reims-Dijon-Lake Geneva- Interlaken
A real alternative to the two routes via Alsace.
(You could go via Paris on this route, but I doubt you want that with just a day to spend there)

The Ronchamp Chapel is worth a visit. If going via Geneva, there are many things to see in Burgundy and the Jura.
You might want to browse though these photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mksfca/...7624827267374/
They are all geo-tagged so that one could know what is of interest to see according to a pre-established route.

I would head over in the direction of Luxembourg and then down the (free) A31 through Lorraine. Matz is absolutely worth a stop. You can even find two reports that I made about it if you look for them. And I also made a report about the lovely city of Nancy.

Thanks for your tips and loved your photos Michael and Kerouac. As we will be there beginning September I hope the weather is as good as in your Strasbourg pics Kerouac. Back to the map to check out all your suggestions! Will probably be back for more tips on the rest of our holiday..Interlaken - northern Italy - Slovenia - Croatia? - through south of France back to Lille to drop off campervan - then Paris for 5 days.
