As we are not driving just wondering how hard it will be to get from Lille to Cambrin Cemetery - its near Bethune apparently only a few kms from Lille?

It seems there is a local bus 87 between Cambrin village and the station at La Bassée, which is a half hour train ride from Lille:

Presumably there'd be a bit of a walk from the village to the cemetery.

Not so fast! The bus company's map of the network was too sophisticated for my work computer, so I didn't see that there is actually a station more or less in Cambrin:

which is actually named for Cuinchy, the next village. It's one stop beyond La Bassée from Lille:

However, there are more trains from Lille to La Bassée than stop at Cuinchy, so you might need the bus after all:

It looks as though there are several cemeteries in the area:

In my experience on a similar sort of visit a couple of years ago, there will be signposting.
