Lighthouses

Hi I'm looking to see if there is anyone who can tell me what books to get and what lighthouse are the most incredible in Ireland and the UK?

Have a look at this, Aubrey

http://www.eshanesslighthouse.co.uk/scottishlighthouses.htm

there's also a link to

http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ranch/7165/uk_ire.html

but right now it's offline. You might want to try later.

I also found this

http://users.aol.com/Uslhswww/lhindex.htm

Also all the lighthouses in Scotland are looked after by the Commissioners of Northern Lighthouses, who have their own website at

http://www.nlb.org.uk

You might find that fun too.

I know little about lighthouses, but I was interested by your question which was why I looked it up.

I'm in North East Scotland. You might like also to have a look at

http://www.scotlandsource.com/about/ctvk2.htm

A google search found me lots of stuff about your lighthouse association stamps but nothing here.

YOU ARE JUST A DREAM COME TRUE!

I searched Lighhouse+ Scotland + book and got masses of hits. They'd probably mean more to you than me.

Did you know there are a bunch of lighthouses you can stay in here?

Aubrey May 18th, 2002 10:58 AM

Actually I did, the thing is we are only staying for 10 days in that area so it wouldn't be worth it cuz we actually might go to france too. In the US there are barely anymore so it is on my things to do list in the future...
