Levanto---Hotel Garden?

Is anyone familiar with this hotel? Here's the website:
http://www.lanierbb.com/inns/wwbb14400.html

We'll be there in early May. SlowTrav doesn't have reviews of Levanto hotels, so I'm hoping some of you can fill me in. We've also written to Villa Margherita.

Also, do you know if there's a car rental return office anywhere in Levanto? So far, the best we can do is turn in the car in La Spezia and train in.

JeanneB, I am planning to stay at the hotel in a few weeks. I'll be happy to give you my opinion when we get back.

Great! I also have reservations there. The only comments I could find were

venere.com and trip advisor

I am not sure how accurate these are.

That would be great! We are two ladies on a somewhat tight budget. We prefer single rooms, but will go with twin beds when necessary. The website describes 3 rooms on the top floor with shared bath, which would work fine for us. We could have two rooms and the rate is 35 euros each! Too good to be true? Maybe they would let you take a peek. On the other hand, there may be a far superior room with twin beds. I would appreciate it if you could look around and tell us what you think.

Zo: I couldn't find any reviews for this hotel on trip advisor. The venere reviews are good, though.

Update. I just received a reply from V. Margherita quoting 115 euro for twin room.

Will look forward to your report back next month. Have a great trip!

Laura Ashley florals would be nice. LOL!

Would appreciate it if either of you can
check out those rooms. Not clear if they have views. Any info will be helpful. Thx.
