Let's talk about sex!!!

Ok, got your attention, didn't I?!! Whenever my husband of 27 yrs+ and I visit Europe, we find ourselves relaxed and having the time for romance. The time we both remember with fondness is the night in Sorrento, Italy. After touring with the kids for 2 wks, we took a night off and bought a bottle of wine. He dragged our mattress onto our balcony and we spent the night viewing the Med. Sea to the right, the mountains to the left and below was a grape arbor. Didn't get much sleep, but couldn't keep a smile off of our faces for the whole next day! Can't beat that for romance....anyone else have a romantic interlude they care to share?

My girlfriend had never been to France (or anywhere in Europe, for that matter) before we went in September, '99. Our hotel in Paris was only about three blocks from the Seine and one of the first things we did that evening was walk down to the Pont des Arts, the graceful pedestrian bridge, and kiss, with the beautiful lights of the City of Light all around us, and lovers embracing and kissing almost everywhere on the bridge. C'est magnifique!

Capo: you said "kissing almost everywhere on the bridge." Don't you know you can pick up a lot of germs by putting your lips to a bridge? Ha!
I was going back to the apartment my ex-boyfriends's mother has in Paris - while walking along the Champs, near the Tuilleries (sp?) I met eyes witth another guy. Next thing, we're in the bushes. Okay - it wasn't romantic but it was hot sex.

Slut.

smart-***, yes I do know that. But these were French germs so they tasted better! :)

Thanks for this post!
I needed a laugh.
Capo,
What about Italian germs?
Lots of bridges near where we will be in Rome.

Capo Mar 14th, 2001 04:15 PM

I don't know, Nancy, as I've yet to kiss a ponte. :)

However, I shall soon find out. My guess is that Italian germs will be molto dolce!

The doctor is in ...

So, "Oscar" (is this a Freudian reference to Oscar Meyer?), was this "hot" sex in Paris while you were still dating the now-ex-boyfriend?

I haven't been getting my fill of Jerry Springer's show lately ...

Judy Mar 14th, 2001 04:26 PM

Hello Sue, it is a racy thread and funny too.
Ahh the joys of love in Rome, we were near the Trevi, just hanging around people watching, and saw a young couple that needed a room badly(made me blush, and envious too) I was surprised the Trevi didn't start to simmer!
oscarw: lucky you didnt get poison ivy,
and other things too! ;-) Judy

Not so much a memory from Europe, but from a time when B was IN Europe.

And I got so cold afterwards - - and your flannel shirt felt so good, V....

Thanks Capo,
But will my husband get upset at me kissing ponti?

After saying goodnight to a bunch of Italian policemen in Rome, one (the most attractive of the three) sprinted back through La Spagna's very long subway entrance to scoop me up in his arms and kiss me. It was one of the most romantic kisses I've had. What wasn't so romantic was the next day when my friend and I got lost and missed ever seeing them again.
