We've had an offer from Venere of 646€ for 3 nights for a standard room with queen-sized bed. Has anyone stayed here? Comments if so, please.

We'll be there in September. The hotel looks very nice, but of course photos can be deceiving. I like the idea of a view, which we haven't had before.

I looked at the site Ira so kindly posted but didn't see any comments--what did I miss???

Were there any guest comments on venere.com, and have you checked for same on tripadvisor.com and paris.org?

A text search here turns up nothing, so it is possible that no Fodorites have stayed there.

No comments on Venere, darn it.

A friend stayed there 2 years ago and loved it. It was her husband's first visit to Paris and they felt it was a lucky find. They had a room with a view of Notre Dame, but I don't know if it was a standard.
