Les Marionnettes du Luxembourg
I don't mind if I get a few 'looks', but is it permissable for 2 adults to join the kiddie crowd at the marionnette theater in Jardin de Luxembourg?
|
Sure, why not? I took my 3 yo niece to the show. She sat separately from me with the other young kids in the first few rows in the center section.
I saw by myself off on the side. You won't get strange looks. Anyone attending with kids will be focused on them, nobody will notice you. |
Forgot to add, if you can sit in one of the front rows on the side, you get a great view of the little kids in the center.
Their reactions to the show were just as (maybe more) entertaining than the show itself. |
OK, I hope to visit this... the first 4 rows are 'kids only' so I won't try breaking that rule... just want to see the fun. A few years ago, we enjoyed the Musee de la Magie and the kids who were there.

I did that a few times when my kids were little. It's no problem. No one cares how old you are - they're all focused on the show.
|
The first rows in the center are kids only but the side sections aren't as limited. I sat in the 4th row on the side along with a bunch of other doting child minders. The kids were clustered in the center section.

Thanks BT... I love J. de Luxembourg, so one more nice thing to see there.

Does anyone know if they do perform the marionnette show year round?
We will be in Paris in late November with our 4 year-old and I'm sure she'd love to see this show. Regardless, we will definitely take her to the Jardin de Luxembourg. |

I hope the Guignol does not hit you

Thanks so much for the website...my daughter will love to see The 3 Little Pigs.
Glad to see that they continue into November. |
