So it's not just me then, ann!

Yes, we Brits face different problems when we take our own cars over to mainland Europe - and bring them home again!

WOW!!
and a BIGER W..O..W !!!
what a great advice and overwhelming concern...
Thanks a lot.
It is good to know that I am not the only one who has a mental block or an initial fear about driving on the other side.
Only way to tackle fear is..... face it.
And everytime, that I have overcome any fear or block earlier in my life; my confidence has increased in many ways and has percolated in every field.
Like Parasailing, waterscooter, river rafting, driving in Himalayas OR even quiting smoking.
This driving experience will probably do the same to me ( Hopefully)
and THANKS to all of you, in helping me reach a higher level confidence in all spheres of life....
let the advice flow... I am learning from all of you.

So much of first hand experience and advice, one can only get on Fodors.

This can become a very useful thread for drivers like me.

I am in the process of making a manual/ Guide for Opposite side driving.

You all have given 31 points till now. Have added a few of my own notes. Will post it back.

Any more points are most welcome....
