Leave for Paris, Rome, Florence, Venice in 2 days

I've been planning a trip to France and Italy the past few months and have been lurking on this site for tips and info. I just wanted to thank everybody for making this site such a great resource. Although this is my first post, I've been reading the forums fanatically and just wanted to express my gratitude to all of you as the information here has helped form the foundation for our trip.

In a nutshell, my wife and I will be travelling to Paris, Rome, Sorrento, Florence, and Venice during the month of July (leaving in a few days). I will post reports about the hotels, tours, flights, etc when I return.

Paris:
Sully St. Germain (5th) 8 Days

Rome Itinerary:
Palladium Palace (near Termini) 6 days
Scala Reale Vatican Tour
Enjoy Rome Ancient Rome Tour

Sorrento:
Hotel Settimo Cielo 4 days

Florence:
Hotel Strozzi Palace 4 days

Venice:
Hotel Al Piave 4 days

We will be travelling from Paris to Rome via Vloareweb's cheap flights. We will be travelling throughout Italy via the rails.

Sincerely,

Sendto

I am so jealous! Was in Italy last year at this time, and it was really wonderful! Eat as much gelato as you can!!!!

Have a great trip, Sendtofats. I was in Florence and Venice this time last year and am eager to return. We'll look forward to your trip report when you get back!

Oh, you lucky ducks! Enjoy, enjoy, and do tell all upon your return!

The troops here at home, impatiently holding their tickets (real or dreamed) crave all travel tidbits. Also, accumulating them is how we get smarter.

May every single day of your journey create memories that will make you smile, years later, on the dreariest of days.
