Learning Spanish in Spain
I'm trying to find a reputable language school in Spain for learning spanish, preferably in Salamanca. Would appreciate any feedback from anybody that knows or has experience in taking summer language course in Spain. Thanks
|
My daughter's high school spanish teacher took a group every summer to Salamanca for school. I believe the name was Enforex. They had dorm rooms available or you could stay with a host family. I'll see if I can get their website for you.

The website is enforex.com
Her teacher must be satisfied with the school as she still is taking groups every summer. |
The University in Salamanca has one of the best programs anywhere. It's been a few years, but I beleive its called Cursos Internacionales. Search on Salamanca...I've posted here a few times about it. In Spanish, it's La Universidad de Salamanca. Highly, highly recommended...

Thanks Kit and Kybourbon,
Kybourbon, Did your daughter go to Salamanca on this program? |
My daughter didn't go but some of her friends did and they all seemed to enjoy it. Her high school AP Spanish teacher is the one that arranged the trip so she was taking students that had 3 and 4 years of Spanish. They usually go in June and stay 2 -3 weeks. They have a tripped planned for this summer also. My daughter(in college now) wanted to take a course in Spain so I looked at the Enforex website. She wanted to be in a resort/coastal area so we were looking at Marbella instead of Salamanca. I can get the teachers email for you if you want details about the classes.

Kybourbon,
Thanks for your offer to get the e-mail of the teacher for me. That would be great(If you think that the teacher won't mind that I contact her/him directly). You can send the info directly to my e-mail. Thanks! |
Tamaar,
Thank you for your reply. Could you give me an idea of the "average" age of students at your school? Thanks |
i guess the average age is around the 23/25. it depends a little on what time of the year.
