Le Marche Accomodations...
We are headed to Le Marche next June. I am beginning my research on accomodations and would appreciate suggestions. So far, I am interested in La Casa in Collina, Il Casato, Le Case, and Palazzo Viviani. I would love to hear comments, suggestions and reviews! We love to stay in out of the way places and good food is a priority! Thanks!

Please consider my friend's place, which is near Urbino. Her name is Giulia and her family runs an agriturismo and organic farm where they grow their own grains, and raise cattle and other farm animals. Her place is beautiful, and she is a real sweetie. Her website is http://www.vallenuova.it/
The Locanda is beautiful. We will be going in the winter to visit her in wonderful Le Marche in the off season. |
Looks great! Thanks for the tip, I am going to send them in inquiry today. We will be in the region for two weeks, so if you have any other ideas - I welcome them! Thanks

If you will be in the southern part of Le Marche, we recommend Palazzo Guiderocchi in Ascoli Piceno, within a block of the main piazza. A very good value.

I was deleriously happy with the food and accommodations at Nene which is in a peaceful, hidden dell at the foot of Urbino.
http://www.neneurbino.com/ I second the recommendation for the marvelous Palazzo Guiderrochi if you are in southern Le Marche. |
A very nice place in southern Le Marche is Villa Sibillini www.villasibillini.com

I have stayed twice at the Monte Conero Hotel, a converted monestary atop the promontory. Nice place, convenient to coastal towns and has a good kitchen.
