le lavandau hotel
 

I posted a message earlier and understand that my question was not specific enough: I was looking for a nice hotel from Marseille to Nice. I have since booked Grand Hotel Moriaz near Lavandau. Anyone know anything about it. We have rental car and an open itinerary from June 4-10, so we were open to any area. We are also staying at Chateau de la Vigne not far from Clermont and at Ch.Fontaine-Etoupefour near Caen, earlier on in the trip May 28-June 2. Anyone know anything about these places?

I couldn't find anything on the Grand Motel Moriaz looking under Le Lavandou in the Michelin guide. Is it possible in a different town entirely?

Thank you Underhill, the address is actually Grand Hotel Moriaz, av Cap Negre, Cavaliere. And we found it looking in the Lavandou area of ViaMichelin. It is on the beach and seemed quite nice, small 20 rooms on the ocean side an 4 in the back.

Description :
The Grand Hotel Moriaz looks out towards the Golden Isle. It stands on the shores of a superb bay with a fine sandy beach and clear water where Roman galleys used to take shelter from the Medeterranean winds.

Papermoon, this looks fantastic for someone who loves the beaches, unfortunately my guy cabn't deal with the sun there.
