Le Havre

Just getting thoughts of taking a cruise and one of the stops is in Le Havre. Would there be time to get to Normandy from Le Havre. We would first be arriving in London and the cruise departs from South Hampton.Could you take the train (chunnel)? to France and then take a tour to Normandy?

Le Havre is in Normandy. There are trains from Le Havre to Rouen. Buses go to Honfleur (about half an hour's journey) and Caen (an hour and a half), but they are not very frequent.
The British port is Southampton (one word!).

Its probably 90 minutes one-way by bus, LeHavre to Bayeaux. The possibility will depend on how many hours you have for LeHavre. You probably want to check with the cruise line and see what shore tours they offer for Lehavre. Where specifically were you thinking that you wanted to go in Normandy?

Alternatively, Honfleur is a small, very picturesque town and just across the river from LeHavre.
