Laundry Facilities

We are planning a spring trip from Dublin SW, West and N. to Galway (10-14 days)by car from one B&B to another. What does one do with/for laundry? Thanks....

I always found laundry mats in the towns I was staying in. The only towns without laundry were Doolin (Clare) and Inishmore (Aran Island).

Most other towns have laundry services available--reasonable and quick if you take your clothes over first thing in the morning.

Most of the laundries are launderettes.
You bring your laundry and they will wash and dry it for you at around $6 per load. There aren't many self-service laundramats. On a recent trip we had to hand wash some clothes and dry them on the radiators or on a clothesline at the B & B. Some B & B's may have laundry facilities.

Anyone know of launderettes in the Bloomsbury area of London?

Hi Robert, we dropped off our laundry in Dingle at a wash and fold place. I don't remember the name, but I think that was the only one in town. BTW. It was not expensive, around 10 dollars. It was done the next day, because we were in high season. FYI, if you have any major stains, try to pretreat them first. I did not and the stain was still there on one item. It was no big deal, but I thought I would let you know. Judy
