Laundromats in Sorrento

I read in Rick Steve's book that a load of laundry will cost 13 Euros. Is this correct? Does that cover washing and drying? Seems VERY high.

Most apartments or hotels will let you wash. Email and ask. When they say they have washer a dryer, it means they have a washer (that takes about 3 hours to do a load) and a drying rack.

In Italy, I have had laundry done usually cost about 10 Euro per load, including wash and fold (dried).

This brings back memories of a laundromat/dry cleaners in Sorrento, on via degli Aranci. I gave them a pair of blue jeans and black jeans to wash for me. When I got them back they were wrapped in plastic so I didn't open them until the next day when we had left town. They smelled so horrible I know she must have washed them with the dirtiest stinkiest work clothes she could find. In fact I tossed them both out.

I suggest you wash and dry your own!
