Late night or early morning covid test locations in Brussels

Hello! I realized that I booked an all day tour the day before we're to return to the US, and I need to get a covid test that day. Is there a location in Brussels anyone knows of that is open really late? Or opens early in the morning? Failing that I can just do it at the airport when we leave, but I'm trying to avoid tacking on more time that day since it will already be a really long travel day for us.

Also, from all I've read it looks like if we're from the US and vaxxed there's no need to quarantine or get that Covid Safe Ticket anymore? Our trip is in a couple weeks, so I know things can change...

Hi, here is a list of the test centres in Brussels. Probably the one that will work best for travellers is the one at Midi (i.e. Brussels South railway station), because it is easy to get to (a terminus for trains, metro, buses and trams) and it is open till 10pm, but note it's not open every day of the week.

It looks like you don't need the Covid Safe Ticket but keep monitoring this website in case things change. Belgium is worried about the latest surge:

Good luck on your upcoming trip!

Thank you so much!!! Is covid getting bad there again? I know in the US we're braced for a surge based on what's happening elsewhere with BA.2 or whatever it's called. I just hope we can get there before it gets too bad.

I think restrictions are being relaxed from the previous wave and Belgium is now Code Yellow (which is good, bad is Code Red). Keep watching https://www.info-coronavirus.be/en/ for information.

I am aware about the coming next wave in some quarters but I don't know how far discussion of this has gone in Belgium. If I hear anything about it I will post back here. The Bulletin and The Brussels Times are good English-language sources of information on what is happening in Belgium (catering mostly to expats, of which there are many in Brussels and Antwerp).

From the Brussels Times: some officials are still concerned about the state of play:

The airport .
https://brusselsairport.ecocare.center/
We used it twice in 2021 (Sept and Nov).
IIRC, they had appointment times available from 05:00 to 24:00.
