Hi Patricia,
I personally do not know of a late-night catacomb tour -- may require more research in a travel book like Lonely Planet or Time Out (Rome, Naples...)
I was just in Sicily and read about how two young tourists were trapped overnight in the catacombs of Syracuse (or was it Palermo?) because they somehow missed the 6pm closing time!

Thanks Betty! I certainly don't want to be locked up in a catacomb at night! Talk about creepy...

Anyway, I do have Rick Steves right here, and nothing about a night catacomb tour...and am also searching online. Thought if any frequent travellers to Rome knew, they could post me.

thanks!
Patricia

Patricia, the catacombs close at 5:30 p.m. There are no late night catacomb tours because all tours of the catacombs are conducted by employees/volunteers of the particular catacomb.

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 01:20 AM.
