last night in Scotland
 

Our whole trip is planned out except for our last night before going back to Glassgow's airport. Leaving Isle of Skye and either traveling to Oban or to Glencoe. We have a rental car.Which is better? I would love to see the national park and Loch Lomond. Do I have time for all of this. We will take an afternoon flight to give us more time.

Oban is just a town that happens to be on the water. Glencoe on the other hand is a "must".

You could very easily leave Skye, see Glenfinnan, Neptune's Staircase, Glencoe, the Trossachs and Loch Lomond on that day. I'd stay the night on/near the southern end of Loch Lomond. From there it is an easy drive to GLA.

Tis is what I've done so far-GLA to Perth(2days here).Perth to Inverness(1day here),Isle of Skye(2days here) then I will find lodging in Glencoe for that last night.What is a must in your openion? My husband wants to get in some hiking along the way....

Janisj - do you have a specific recommendation for the southern end of Loch Lomond?
