Dont know them but our Company uses Nova rent a car and Abc for the last few years they are a fair price and very good cafrs, the are also flexible. Ask for Reno in Split and Zare in Abc, they are both near to the ferry port. Tell them Ali from Cpm sent you, they might give yo a discount

Yes, they are fine, and good to deal with.

At the end of May I had one of their cars for 4 days.

I'd booked earlier in the year with economycarrentals.com who had put me with Sixt, but when I got to Split airport I was sent outside to LastMinuteRent-a-Car.

They spoke good English, and had all the documentation needed. I'd reserved a very small economy car, as it was just me. Because I was driving to Sarajevo I definitely needed the cross-border card, and was upgraded to a sporty Astra GTC which was very whizzy, and actually a bit bigger than I wanted but it was OK. It would cost more than double to rent than a little car so I did pretty well for my 98 euros!

There was 1/4 tank of petrol in it, and I returned it with about the same, maybe a bit more.

When you rent you get full CDW included in the price. If anything goes wrong they do charge your card the excess but you can then claim this back from economycarrentals in full. So they do swipe your card at the desk before you drive off, but they tear up the slip if you return the vehicle without damage.

They give you the option of buying extra insurance at the desk to avoid this possible charge, but I turned it down.

They are easy to deal with. When I returned the car I was early and there was no one in the office but I called and the man arrived within 10-15 minutes. His English is good, as is the girl's - I think her name is Ana. They text you with their phone numbers in case of emergency, and you also get a card with landlines and cellphone numbers to call.

Since my return I've had my cc statement and haven't been charged any more than the agreed 98 euro cost of a 4 day rental. (OK, I was charged in kuna, but it works out at 98 euros)

Hello,

I think i'm going to choose this one, because they have good prices, better then the internacional rental cars.

Thank you for your reply.
