Naturally I feel obligated to mention Priceline. :-) In September I used Priceline while already in Paris to replace the overplaced little dive I had booked on my own. From an internet cafe I got an adequate 4-star hotel (3-star by US standards - Novotel Tour Eiffel) for about $80/night for the next few nights. <BR><BR>Depending on the type of trip, I might not use Priceline next time, as location is important to me in Paris. But decently-located hotels are expensive in Paris especially in high season.<BR> <BR>Andrew<BR>

You could also try Bookings.org, laterooms.com and cheapnights.com

Laterooms.com worked for us in London a few years ago.
