Amsterdam is on the Amstel, it's cruise port is on the Ij, which is not a river. It's main port is linked to theses by the Noordzeekanaal.
Eindhoven is home of Philips. PSV used to be the Philips Sort Vereniging, or Philips sports club.
You rather blew the Porceleyne Fles question. Where would you find Koninklijke Tigchelaar? That is a more interesting question.

sorry, I missed that no-one had answered the one about the Brocken. remiss of me since we too the train up there in September.
and of course the Seat of King Arthur [or not?] is Tintagel.

PS: Tintagel ("a" as in "hat"): there was a documentary series on castles on BBC TV recently, and the presenter/academic argued that Tintagel, though built when castles were the established means of exerting power and control, couldn't have been meant to be a fortress, but even then was built for its symbolic and legendary value.
