Laptop or netbook

I know this is a stupid question but is there any internet service connection I can get while traveling in western Europe for one month. I do not want to sign up for a one year plan or a two year plan. I just want internet service while traveling.

Thanks in advance,
oinchats

There's lots of free wi-fi around, you don't need an ISP.

If your hotel doesn't have wireless, try sitting in a major park, or, in a pinch, find a Starbucks. Signing up with a service provider wouldn't do you any good- there would still have to be a wireless router wherever you were. At some places, you may have to sign up and pay an hourly fee for access- Boingo seems to be in most airports and other places, I would guess. But if you're creative, you should be able to connect free most of the time. I understand there's free wireless on the Champs Elysee.
