Lapland first time - Help with activities booking

Friends,
Excited .. travelling to Lapland for the first time this Christmas and new year .
Itinerary is as follow as:
Landing Ivalo airport on December 25th evening and would reach kakslauttanen by late evening around 7 . By the time all would b closed I believe , so would rest at resort.
Dec 26 till Dec 28 staying in Kakslauttanen and moving to Rovaniemi on Dec 28 afternoon.
Staying in Rovaniemi from Dec28 til Jan 1st.
Checking out mid day of Jan 1st .
Other than flights and hotels , we didn’t book any thing else.
All I need is guidance and help with respect to booking , planning activities in both Saariselka and Rovaniemi.
How to plan, where to book etc .
Indebted to thank you for your support.
Aurora hunting with snowmobile , Reindeer/ husky rides , SCV and tour, ice floating forest lake, northern lights . Polar beer adventure , ice breaker cruise are some of the things I am planning .
Could you recommend any proper agencies or booking sites with whom we could do at this last minute ?
Also wanna ask if we really need to buy snow boots etc or we could get rental dress sets once we land ivalo ?
Your inputs are highly appreciated
Travelling with 13 year old kid . So I wanna ensure that everything goes fine.

Thanks

You do realise there are no polar bears in Finland, or anywhere on mainland Europe?
I assume you have your visas organised?

Have a fun trip and wrap up very warm - daytime temps range from +2 to -8 C during your stay.

You need warm clothes
If vegetarian this may give you problems and I would contact your hotel

Hello again. I'm glad you're considering some of the things we talked about on your last thread. I think your hotel would be great source of information, or the local tourist information office. Have a great time.

The resort is not enourmous, everyone knows everyone else, they only got roads after 1945 and apart from the few migrants from the south have known each other from school days. Because of this and a stupidly low crime rate (well everyone knows everyone else) there are only good tours. Use your hotel to sort stuff out, the issue is going to be more about availabilty and the amount of daylight you are going to find (very very little)

I guess you found this
https://www.visitrovaniemi.fi/plan/r...t-information/

if you are going with one of the tour groups like Cosmos or Ski etc they can sort some of this out for you too

You'll find that outdoor clothes are provided for some ski-doo stuff and certainly dog hire. But others you need to prepare for -5C or worse with wind chill. Boots too as no one clears the snow.

I bring your attention to this https://www.visitrovaniemi.fi/safety-instructions/ especially
