Renting an apartment in Edinburgh

We are looking to rent an apartment for our stay in Edinburgh. We found one that looked to fit our needs on http://vacation-rentals-scotland.com/. Has anyone used this rental company before?

No personal experience, but I would personally be rather wary dealing with a company whose website gives an email address and a mobile phone number as the sole means of contact (no landline number, no registered office address...)

We used Katie at www.greatbase.co.uk. She found us a brilliant flat in an 18th century building with all mod cons, at the center of everything but on a quiet court.

Last year we stayed at this apartment through Flipkey. Very clean, modern, and quite large for two people.

We rented from Greatbase last summer and were thrilled with our choice. A lovely townhouse off the Royal Mile. Great value, tons of room. Nice kitchen, my daughter, who cooks, thought she had died and gone to heaven. I think you will be happy with your choice. Have a lovely time! Try to visit the Tolbooth Tavern if you like pubs. My husband and I loved it.
