Your favorite places to people watch

I find the variety of people out in the world at least as interesting visually as scenery or museums.

In my town, I'd tell people to go to the Loop, the zoo, or Washington Ave to people watch. Do you have favorite spots to sit and watch the world go by in London, Paris, anywhere?

Locally it is fun to sit at the Seattle Best Coffee at the entrance to Pike Place Market in Seattle.

In Europe,
It is fun to watch people in Piazza Navona in Rome,
St Marks Square in Venice or Leidsiplein in Amsterdam.

I love the people watching at Trafalgar Square in London. In my limited experience, it's ALWAYS a freakshow.

My favourite places to people-watch in Paris were at the Stravinsky Fountain (can't remember the name of the square) and in St Denis.

In Rome my favourite people-watching place was the Jewish Ghetto, although Piazza Navona and the square in front of the Pantheon were fun at night.

People-watching in museums can also be fun.

A cafe near a major tourist attraction or intersection in any of the cities in europe. There are a couple across from the Pantheon in Rome, near the Opera in Paris, or on Boul Mich.

In New York just head for Central Park.
