.. the entire lake area is gorgeous.. there are many jewels along the way. definitely a beautiful trip and lots to see. all depends on how much time you have. There are so many lovely villas/hotels/restaurants.. Life how it used ot be.. still reigns there.

Verona has a wonderful arena, in a much better state (restored) of preservation than the Coliseum in Rome, but much smaller. It also has a number of lovely churches and an attractive main square. Avoid "Juliet's Balcony", it just a tourist thing with no connection to the Romeo and Juliet story or Shakespeare.

Having said that, although I'm happy to have seen the place I'm not sure that if my trip was a one off to Italy I'd take the time to visit. Having traveled to the area on a number of occasions, I think it was the third trip or so before I went there.
