Lake Garda hotels
 

Can you recomand a few good hotels around lake garda? (200-300 euro per night).

My parents have just returned from 'The Grand in Gardone' They are very well travelled and this is the only hotel or place (Lake Garda) that they would go back to.

Overlooking the lake, great food and easy to get get by ferry to other towns.

I hate to think I'm actually suggesting something below budget, but here's one I mentioned just yesterday and as I said I was worried about it because it seemed to "cheap" to be good. Their best rooms with balcony to the lake are 150 euro. Their award winning restaurant is the main thing, but we loved our room as well. We were in Riva del Garda in June. We loved the setting. We stayed in the Best Western Europa. While it is a fine hotel, your budget is for one or more stars above the Europa.

But do get up to Riva if you can.
