time of year? interests?
|
oh sorry, at the end of summer sept/oct. by the way we come from the island of malta and everything interests us.
|
well, if everything interests you - then either area would be great. They - along w/ Cornwall - are the most popular touring/holiday areas in the country.
Really don't know how to help you since you really can't go wrong w/ either one. And early Autumn is a good time to visit both. The Lakes - more hiking/dramatic scenery. The Cotswolds - more gentle scenery, and picture postcard villages. Decide which area you want and then we can help you more . . . . |
If you do not have or want to have a car then Lake District is much easier to get around in by public transit then Cotswold Hills are, where buses are sporadic.
Double-deckers and mini-buses lace the Lake District with hop on and hop off services frequently. |
