Lake Como/Venice accomod around $130-150?
 

We are arriving Oct. 3 at Lake Como and want to stay for 3 nights and then to Venice for 4. Help?

When we were in Venice in May, we stopped in at Villa Ducale which is just outside Venice in Dolo. [email protected]<BR><BR>We did not get to stay there because there were no rooms available. But we walked around and the place is just gorgeous!!! Stayed up the road at another little place that Villa Ducale helped locate.<BR><BR>Dolo is on the bus route to Venice and quieter. Also probably a little less expensive.

Based on a budget of $150 a nights for 7 nights you plan on about $100 a night on Lake Como and $175 a night in Venice. Try hotels in Menaggio or Varenna on Lake Como. That area is much nicer than Como anyway.
