lake como $100 hotel possible?

greetings - is it possible to find a hotel room for $80-100 in mid-June for 2 adults? if you could provide me with some name or website I would greatly appreciate it-location does not have to be Lake Como, but general vicinity. Thanks

Yes--the Bellavista in Mennagio is about 100 meters from the boat dock and is decent. I do not know the URL--try a google search. It is easy to find in a perfect location.

Stayed at Hotel Silvio in Bellagio last spring. A dozen rooms, Lake Como view, terrific kitchen patronized by locals every night. The padrone hauls in fresh fish daily. They have a website.

I am not sure of current prices but several years ago I stayed at the Hotel Metropole in Bellagio and was very satisfied. At the time, it was the most reasonably priced hotel I could find in Bellagio that was in the center of town.

La Pergola, they have a website.
Bellagio, off the beaten track with a beautiful (and quiet)lake view.

Last June we stayed at Hotel Olivedo in Varenna. The price includes dinner--which was WONDERFUL!..

http://www.olivedo.it/English/index.htm

Spent two nights at the Inn Riva al Lago (they have a website). Very close to the water. Simple but very cheap a clean spacious rooms. I saved my money for dinner at the Metropole and Suisse - best prosciutto and melon and a spaghetti with butter, cheese and black pepper that I can still taste.

Try the Albergo Milano in Varenna - a Rick Steve's recommendation we took a couple of years ago & were very happy with. Do a search on them for a website.
