Lake Bled, Slovenia by Train

Travelling to Lake Bled for a few days, arriving by train from Vaduz on Monday 9th May, 2016. Staying in hotel at east end of lake. Two train station options - Bled Jezero or Lesce. Does anyone know which is the better choice of station?

Also, trains at both stations arrive late afternoon/early evening. Does anyone know whether transportation to hotels in Bled town itself is readily available from both stations at that time of day?

Did you try a google-map search? It looks like Lesce-Bled is some distance out of town. And have you consulted a decent guide book? This kind of information is almost always covered in the better ones, such as the Rough Guide.

If you can't find information about transportation from the train station, contact your lodging -- I'm sure they can answer your questions.

Bled is lovely -- enjoy!

there is a bus that picks up from the station (Bled Lesce), street view shows you where, the timings don't always match so you may need a coffee to kill time.

rome2rio is useless in this area

As you are coming from Vaduz the only option is Bled-Lesce and then bus or taxi to Bled. If you want to go to Bled Jezero, you must change train in Jesenice, best check timetables.
