La Tavola Marche

With this gem on the market, it appears we have missed a great experience. Any recommendations for a comparable venue in the area? Planning a trip for June 2016.

I will give this one more hopeful try.

We have stayed at Il Giardino degli Ulivi in Castelraimondo a number of times, but it has been a few years since our last visit. It is an agriturismo, run by husband and wife, Maria Pia and Sante. Maria Pia is an amazing cook and the food is incredible. And her presentations are so artful, but not fussy or contrived. She has been a part of the Slow Food movement for many years. Sante is an architect, who restored the buildings, is passionate about wine and the region. What food isn't raised on their farm, comes from a very close proximity. He told us once, that if he can't see where it came from, he views it with suspicion!

The property is located within an ancient hamlet, the views are stunning. We have been both in the Spring, when the acacia trees and poppies are blooming, and the fall, with leaves turning. The hamlet itself has no shops or services, just a few residents, one of whom had us over for coffee one day! So a car is a must.

Sante took a keen interest in our plans everyday, mapping out gorgeous driving itineraries. Since Castelraimondo is in central Le Marche, much of the region can be visited on day trips.

that looks lovely, c'girl, but I'm struggling a bit with the website.

do they state their prices anywhere or do you have to e-mail them for their terms>

I don't believe the prices are stated anywhere, I would email them. I always felt it was very reasonably priced. Ask for the corner room "al angolo". It is larger and has a beautiful view across the fields and onto the neighboring hamlet.

You can find them on Booking.com

For fictitious dates in October, a double room was priced at 75e per night.
