La Scala Museum..does it give you a chance to see the inside of La Scala?
 

If we visit the La Scala Museum will we have a chance to see the interior of the Opera house? Or, do we need to book the private tour listed on their website to see the interior?

You can go into the opera house from the museum if there is no performance or rehersal. Sadly the day I was in Milan there was a rehersal and we could not tour beyond the museum.

do you know if there's a way that you can find out ahead of time when rehearsals are?

i also want to "peek in" without taking the tour.
