La Havre to Bayeux
 
We are coming off a cruise ship in La Havre on June 2nd and would like to travel to Bayeux. The following day we would take a tour to the D-Day sites spend a 2nd night then travel to Paris.
What would be the cheapest/best way to travel from La Havre to Bayeux and then after spending 2 nights there, travel to Paris?
Any other suggestions on this itinerary would be appreciated too!

The train from La Havre to Bayeux is not a great option, but the perfect way to get back to Paris.
I'd consider a car service to get you from the port to Bayeux.

If you could swing it, a perfect solution would be to book a D-Day tour that departs from La Havre. Many of them make their final stop in Bayeux, I'd ask if they'd let you just leave the tour there instead of riding back!
(They'd need to have space for your luggage is the major issue). Bayeux itself is awesome & very walkable.
A tour to Mont St Michel out of Bayeux would be a great 2nd day. Book your Bayeux restaurants in advance (lots of great choices)

Can easily walk to the rail station and catch a train back to Paris.
