La Colombe D'Or - How much??

I have booked lunch here for next week. I'm not afraid - really I'm not :o/ - but I was just wondering how much it is, for budget purposes?? I have read great things about it. Also, does anyone have any experience of the tasting menu?

Hi AllyPally! I can't speak to the lunch menu, but my husband and I had dinner there about a month ago. It's not cheap! We had a glass of champagne each to start (it was our anniversary), an appetizer each, main course and dessert. Oh, yes, and wine...can't remember if it was one or two bottles (it was a great night!) of our mid-priced wine. Our tab was over $200 with tip (dollars). But it was worth every cent for the ambience, the wait staff, and the food!

We spent about $150 for lunch with a bottle of wine and dessert included last summer.

Make sure to visit the main house afterwards. It is full of Picassos etc, artworks done in exchange for room and board at the hotel some time ago.
