La Colombe d'Or
 

Has anyone ever stayed at the Colombe d'Or? How did you find the accomodations? About how much is it for a nights stay? Did you enjoy the restaurant?

I had dinner there about five years ago--really enjoyed the tasting menu. For what it is worth my father (who lives about 5-7 miles from Vence) says that you can do better in other towns in the area.

Marc was it a beautiful place? Had you seen the rooms, the grounds?<BR>

The restaurant's dining rooms and the small surrounding grounds were quite beautiful; as I was staying in my father's house in Rocquefort-les-Pens I did not see any of the rooms.

Where is this place?

Saint Paul de Vence, about 5-10 miles north of Cannes in southern France. <BR><BR>www.la-colombe-dor.com<BR><BR>is entirely in French, but is readable by anyone (the staff speaks English).
