I have been to Kutna Hora at least ten times and think it is well worth a visit. I have put together a number of photos as well as some practical information about visitng the town. Any comments more than welcome.

Amazing how things work... I JUST finished a book by John Connolly while here on vacation that deals with Kunta Hora, Sedlec, and the "church of bones." Fascinating stuff. We are also planning a trip later this year that takes us to Prague for 2 nights, so I was interested in your post when it popped up on the page where I was asking about places to visit in Germany. Jeremy, perhaps you can answer this question for me. When we visited Kutna Hora in 2008, we had a really good lunch at a restaurant that had a nice outdoor patio in back under some shade trees. it is the only restaurant on our trip that I did not have the name of, and as you can tell, it still bugs me. I have visited Kutna Hora twice in recent years and really enjoyed it.It is a very easy day trip from Prague and very easy to organise yourself.
I don't recognise the resturant Maitaitom,but enjoyed your report and pictures.
Back In Prague on the 14th of May for the Prague Beer Festival,not trip to Kutna Hora this time.
