Krakow to Prague night train

Hi everyone. I'm planning a trip to Europe in May 2016 with 2 other people.
We want to take the overnight train from krakow to Prague around May 11th. I've checked the schedule and it doesn't show a night train from March 11 on. Does the train stop running after March 11?
I can book a tickets on polrail.com but they are a bit expensive, about $150can each for a 3 person sleeper. I'm worried if we book them the train might not be there when we arrive.
If the train still runs then is it safe to book the train when we arrive in krakow 3 days before we leave? Is it cheaper to book them in person? Is there a chance there would be a sleeper available a few days before at that time of year?
Also I had found a service with a company called Leo express or tiger express that's during the day, a combination of bus and train. Has anyone taken that and can recommend it?
Thanks in advance for the replies!

See: http://seat61.com/international-trai...akow_to_Prague

Probably too early for that train to show up, but read what seat61 has to say about buying tickets.

This train is in the timetable to run all year.

You'd probably have little problem in booking a 3-bed sleeper at the station a day or two before.

But there's only one sleeping-car with 11 compartments, so you can't be 100% sure - for that, book through www.polrail.com

trains are rarely cheaper to book in person than online or in advance unless you are buying in advance from a travel agent who marks them up. Usually they are more expensive if you book in person at the last minute. However, I think I bought one from Czech rail online that did have a slight fee for booking online, which surprised me, but it wasn't much, if I'm remembering correctly.

150 CAD is less than 100 euro, or about 33 euro per person-- perhaps you may have unrealistic ideas about the cost of trains for that long a journey in a sleeper car. That is incredibly cheap for that, in fact, because trains in Poland are a lot cheaper than in some other countries.

Thanks for all the replies everybody!
Christina, it was 150$ can per person, so 450$ total. I guess that's not bad considering we save a night in a hostel but we're trying to keep costs down.
On seat 61 it says the cheapest way to book is at the station. It says on the site it's 81euro each for a 3 person sleeper. I'm not sure how recent that info is. Has anyone taken this train and know what the fare is?
Also anyone taken the Leo express bus train combo that can comment on it?
Thanks again!
