Is there a book or a list of kosher (not kosher style) restaurants in Paris? <BR>

If you call or write the French Tourist Office, ask for their publication "France for the Jewish Traveller" or something like that. It gives lots of sites to visit, as well as the restaurants. The Jewish district is in the Marais, and there are lots of Kosher restaurants there (Jo Goldberg, to name one). If you get the Let's Go guide to Paris, it lists kosher restaurants (and vegetarian, too).

The first part of Elvira's response is on target, but be aware that Jo Goldenberg's is not Kosher, but Kosher-style.

The name of the publication is indeed <BR>France for the Jewish Traveler. It lists synagogues, restaurants, and points of interest in Paris and selected other towns and cities. The telephone number in the US for the French Tourist Office is 212 838 7800. <BR>If you are interested, the brochure (1996 edition) also lists a "kosher" hotel in Paris" <BR>Lebron, at 4 rue Lamartine, in the 9th. <BR>phone 48 78 75 52 <BR>fax 49 95 94 64 <BR>41 rooms, located between Montmartre and the Opera Garnier. Near several kosher rstaurants and a synagogue. Serves breakfast and sabbath lunch.
