Found it on Target website, but not in the store. Anyone ever used one? Doesn't look like it would hold much.

I think that's Moldavian for "where's Patrick". <Janeg> must be a pseudonym for Bob & Betty ___.

I have seen it. Think it's ugly. Looks like a tennis rack holder/cover on the back :)

Janeg -
My DH just got me my dream trippin' bag for my birthday. It's a bit pricey (which is why I didn't buy it for myself), but exceedingly well made. You can see it at http://www.duluthpack.com/product_de...s+slipper+pack You can wear it as a backpack or a sling. It's roomy but not too big. I figure it will easily carry a couple of guidebooks, a bottle of water, miscellaneous "purse things," a mini umbrella and more. I have no connection with this company other than being an extremely satisified customer. I've used their leather-and-canvas canoe packs for 12 years, dragging them across the granite and gneiss of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness without a single problem. All handmade on site, and they guarantee everything and do repairs if they're ever needed (they haven't been on my part). |
worktowander- thank you for your input. I am glad it works for you. It is so nice to find just the right one. It is a bit pricey and looks heavy. I am more into light weight stuff. My shoulders aren't very tough. For this reason, I never use leather.
Happy birthday. |
I have a light weight sling type bag I've had for several yaears and love, but it's only a sling bag not a backpack - I bought it from Travel Smith - if you go on their website you will see it - it is microfiber, wipes off easily, is never heavy no matter how much I load it up - and I believe is around $ 70. you might want to look at it.

Hope you find what you're looking for!
