Know of a Good Hotel in Badgastein?

Betty.....I like the Elisabethpark, town center just across from the congress center.As I remember correctly,complimentary transfer to the rail station and the ski lift.We had a nice lunch at the restaurant in the congress hall and a very Austrain dinner in the chalet on the way to the ski lift.I really dont like heights,but Badgastein is one of my favorite places to visit.I stand there by the water fall thru the center of town and wonder how in the world such a beautiful place could have possibly been built.Have you been there before?Stephen

No, BeachBoi, I haven't been to Badgastein before but my husband has -- years ago. We actually lived in Vienna for a couple of years in the early '80's and he went there for a business meeting. It's been so long ago, though, that he doesn't remember the name of the hotel where he stayed. I've seen the Elisabethpark on the Internet and it looks nice. Thanks for the input.

Thanks, Jan. I was hoping to hear from you. I piggy-backed on another posting where you mentioned staying in Badgastein but you never revisited the post! I'll certainly check it out.
