Sadly not quite true. A terrifying amount of the knifing is of blacks, by blacks. Whatever word we give the indigenous population, there's a dispiriting amount of crime among them too if they're poor. But some crimes are a great deal more common among black boys.
Black girls, BTW, have some of the lowest rsates of offending of any group in the population. And relatively good educational histories too - ahead of us Celts.

I guess i thought the OP's post was referring to the well publicized knife crime rate in Glasgow area and i assumed most of this was Celts. Scotland now has the highest violent crime rate in Europe and some areas rival the U.S. rate i believe.

Unfortunately 90% of female victims of gun crime in the UK are black.
Anyway, let's put this Celt/Anglo-Saxon thing to bed.
The consensus among the British (plus the Irish) is that the British (plus the Irish) are a bunch of mongrels and proud of it.
There is no such thing as an ethnic Celt, or Anglo-Saxon.

It's not just Consensus, DNA studies are fairly conclusive of the same thing. So as a purely non political point, an Irishman can change the spelling of his name ,speak Gaelic, and know the entire history of whom defeated who in 214AD (I have no idea - I'm pulling a date from the air), but they are still likely to be a very similar genetic makeup to the average Englishman.
The interesting DNA study is the one that showed a family from Yorkshire tracing roots back over 500 years to West Africa.

This probably isn't related, certainly not black on black crime or gang-related crime in the estates.
But I remember this article because often, UK holds itself up compared to countries like France, Germany and Italy for better economic record (which presumably would affect crime):

Not surprising at all, there were Nubians, Syrians etc on Hadrian's wall 2000 years ago.
The Greeks and Lebanese were trading with the British Isles a long time before that...and some stayed.
The black community in Cardiff dates from the 17th century.
You have the Poles, the Italians, the Germans, the Huegenots, Jewish refugees from Russia, French fleeing the Revolution, Gypsies, then the Caribbean and Africa, and the Indian Sub-Contintent the list goes on...

I suspect as some have mentioned, that much of the UK youth knife crime is between youths involved in criminal activity and/or takes place in bad inner city areas where tourists have no reason to go. It's like here in the US with gun crime, much of it occurs in bad inner city neighborhoods, mostly among black gangs/criminals, not among average citizens.
