KLM?
Would someone from the Netherlands (or elsewhere, for that matter) tell me the meaning of the "KLM", found in both the airline and the delftware?

Many thanks,

GK

Good question; I've always wondered that too.

I don't know what "Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij" means, but that's what the website below says KLM stand for.

http://www.plexoft.com/SBF/K01.html#KLM

Koninklijke = Royal
Luchtvaart = Airline
Maatschappij = Type of Herring (no, I'm kidding, it really means Company)

More or less.

Thanks, KT
