Yes. See this thread.

in future, please put your question in your post title: "Tran from Bilbao to San Sebastian?" would be perfect.

Do you have a guidebook? Have you looked at the Fodors miniguides for Spain?

kiwimike-

Don't worry about it. I am sure a lot of us here can relate our 1st computer experience. It sure can be confusing. Rex has started a brand new thread for you, so I hope you will get your answer on this forum. If you ever need to find all the messages you have posted before, just click on your own username on your screen and the messages will magically show up!

Also, if you click the link below, you can also find one of your threads which has an answer for you:

Don't be intimadated by Fodors. We are all here to help!

Actually, both of the original "null" postings by kiwimike are gone, but the thread most useful (if s/he finds this one) would be http://www.fodors.com/forums/pgMessa...p;tid=34482220

not the thread cited above (which has now been removed by Fodors, I think).

Best wishes,

Rex

Hey yk - - maybe e-mail the URL of this thread to kiwimike?

I think either kiwimike got scared of us, or he was a troll...
The only reason I said that was because even you could not get the subject line "null", how did he manage to (unless he typed in "null" on purpose???)

rex Mar 12th, 2004 10:19 AM

<<I think either kiwimike got scared of us, or he was a troll... >>

I think that neither of these explanations is very likely.

Like hundreds more before him, I think he came here, never felt comfortable with how to post a question, may (or may not have) come back, and have no clue how to find his question - - and concluded, oh well, this certainly isn't very useful (and left with an indifferent opinion about Fodors as a company at best) and just shrugged it off. He had never (or hardly ever) used the internet to interact with another person or information resource before, and this experience did little or nothing to turn him on to the worlds that lie "within" (cyberspace).

Wwould it hurt to e-mail him this URL?

Already I get accusations from time to time that I think I am the self-appointed moderator here. I guess other people take on the occasional newbie in a good Samaritan fashion once in a while. I am not really sure.

rex-

I for one don't think you are a "self-appointed moderator". You have helped hundreds if not thousands of travelers on this site.
I personally don't mind being a good Samaritan once in a while, however, I have an aversion to emailing folks who I don't know, even if I am using my 2nd or 3rd line email address.

I appreciate your kind remarks.
