Kilkenny, nice lodging for three women
We are three women in our sixties, wanting to spend 25 & 26 September in a nice place close to the Kilkenny city center. One of us has a bad ankle and can't walk much for long. The Rivercourt Hotel looks perfect but might be too pricey for us. The Carriglea is fully booked. The Rosquil House appears to not have much character.
Any upscale-yet-economical ideas? Thanks! |

Thank you all for your advice.
We booked the Rosquil before we left and it worked out well. All three of us were in one large room with separate beds. Breakfast was excellent; we had to leave early for the ferry the second morning and hated to miss breakfast! Next time I'd splurge on the Rivercourt as it really is right in the middle of town. But we did okay driving into town and parking in a carpark for a couple of euros. |
We had a fantastic stay at Alcantra B&B, so keep that in mind f
